Critics are hailing Pushing Daisies as one of 2007’s most brilliant new TV series. I cannot stop expressing my love for it. To see what the buzz is all about, check this teaser…it’s like watching a story book come to life.
By the way, the narration is fittingly done by Jim Dale, who lends his voice to the Harry Potter Audio Books.

With its stunning visual appeal, combined with a touch of drama and a hint of comedy, ABC’s highly anticipated quirky TV series Pushing Daisies, is positively a whimsical delight.
The main character, Ned, the good-natured pie maker, possesses a unique gift that ultimately becomes the one thing that keeps him from becoming intimate with the person who matters most to him. Ned, you see, can bring the dead back to life, but only for one minute. If he touches them again, they die forever. If he doesn’t, someone else in near proximity to the dead will have to die in place of that person.
The show is described as a “forensic fairy tale” and Ned uses his ability to help a private investigator solve murders. No one knows Ned’s secret except this PI. And of course, Chuck.
Chuck or Charlotte is Ned’s boyhood crush and perhaps the love of his life. The circumstance they both experienced together as kids have created this common bond between them. And in an unfortunate incident years later, when both have grown up, Ned discovers that Chuck has been murdered. And he uses his powers to bring her back….and also allowed her to live beyond one minute.
But one touch from Ned and Chuck is gone forever.
How long will he be able to keep her? And how will they be able to manage a relationship this way?
Discover the adventures, misadventures, highs and lows of Ned and Chuck and the rest of the cast this coming Wednesday, October 3, 2007, 8:00/7:00c as Pushing Daisies, created by Bryan Fuller, unfolds on ABC.

The pleasure of having to blog for Pushing Daisies would have to be an understatement for me. I have grown to love, love, love (!!!) the series the last four times I’ve seen the pilot episode, that I am feeling more than just joy and pleasure.
Hi there! I hope you join me in Watching Pushing Daisies.

As its teasers say, Pushing Daisies is "nothing like you've seen on television". Besides being visually stimulating and audibly captivating, the story behind this whimsical TV series from ABC, is one that seems to jump out pages of a fairy tale. Created by Bryan Fuller, Pushing Daisies is hailed by critics as a commendable risk that may actually pay off. It has romance, tragedy, comedy, mystery and of course, lest we forget, pies…lots and lots of it.
