A Wonderfalls and Pushing Daisies Character Crossover!
Monday, July 28th, 2008A character from Bryan Fuller’s defunct TV series, Wonderfalls, may be appearing and crossing over to the second season of Pushing Daisies.
This information was revealed at the Comic Con last Saturday. And that character none other than Mary Ann Marie Beetle, who appeared in the Muffin Buffalo episode of Wonderfalls.
She is played by Beth Grant.
Fuller also says he’d like for Jaye Tyler (Caroline Dhavernas) the lead of Wonderfalls to drop by the “sunny Daisies world” as well. Diane Scarwid who played Mother to Lee Pace in this series, is already a confirmed guest on Pushing Daisies.

Kristin obliged a fan and sang Somewhere Over The Rainbow beautifully:
I am not loving her hairstyle, though….she looks older with it.

‘Daisies’ outdoes the other shows
Thursday, July 24th, 2008
I don’t know why this one took awhile to register but it only occurred to me that Pushing Daisies’ Twelve Emmy nominations are a big deal! A huge deal!
With last season’s three month strike, the show has only aired nine episodes and yet — the show has been nominated in almost every significant category.
I was quite disappointed that it didn’t make Best Comedy. But looking at the situation this way, it doesn’t matter anymore.
Anyway, the following is an article from the Philadelphia Inqurier, which also notes on the show’s 12 nominations…the most nominations a broadcast network TV show has received this year.
Autumn Reeser to Guest Star on Pushing Daisies and an Emerson Cod tidbit
Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008
Here’s a fresh scoop from Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello!
“The O.C.’s Taylor Townsend herself, Autumn Reeser, will guest star in the season premiere as a Southern Belle named Kentucky Fritz who has a deadly run-in with some killer bees. “She’s the number one girl at Betty’s Bees, who may or may not have been up to some mischief when she was stung to death by a swarm of bees,” teases Daisies creator Bryan Fuller. The gig reunites Reeser with actress Missi Pyle (aka Betty Bee); the two appeared in an episode of Fox’s short-lived Wedding Bells that, unfortunately, no one ever saw. “I walked down the aisle to ‘Maria’ from Sound of Music,” Reeser recalls. “But the show was canceled before it aired.” Ironically, sounds like an episode I would’ve actually watched.”
Ausiello also adds — “Daisies is casting the role of Emerson’s no-nonsense, chain-smoking and, get this, Caucasian mom.”
First Look at Anna Friel in Land of The Lost
Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008Finally, a photo from Anna Friel’s movie, Land of the Lost, has surfaced on line.
The movie also stars Will Ferrel and it is based on a television series from the 70’s. It is set for release in the summer of 2009.
Lee Pace’s Miss Pettigrew out on DVD August
Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008Universal Home Video has announced the release of the DVD, Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day for August 19th. The film stars Frances McDormand, Amy Adams, Lee Pace, and Ciaran Hinds. It is directed by Bharat Nalluri.
Lee Pace’s Emmy Nomination Reaction
Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008Entertainment Tonight was able to talk to Lee Pace hours after the announcement of his Emmy nomination for Best Actor comedy. As I understand, this interview was done on the set of Pushing Daisies which is currently filming episodes for the second season. Although, I am sensing Lee was quite uncomfortable in this one…and he looks a bit different, too don’t you think?
Pushing Daisies Spoiler Season 2 Episode 5
Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008Didn’t read through this new spoiler properly as I’d still want to remain spoiler-free. I just grabbed this off PushingDaisies-TV which has been very vigilant and generous with spoilers.
It all comes after the cut…
About Pushing Daisies
As its teasers say, Pushing Daisies is "nothing like you've seen on television". Besides being visually stimulating and audibly captivating, the story behind this whimsical TV series from ABC, is one that seems to jump out pages of a fairy tale. Created by Bryan Fuller, Pushing Daisies is hailed by critics as a commendable risk that may actually pay off. It has romance, tragedy, comedy, mystery and of course, lest we forget, pies…lots and lots of it.
