Kristin Chenoweth plans to record album for Gay fans
Following her recognition from the gay education group, The Point Foundation, based in Los Angeles, Kristin Chenoweth announced plans she is coming up with an album that will make her gay fans very happy. The album will mostly consist of “camp anthems” like “The Man That Got Away,” “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” “Papa, Can You Hear Me?” an important Barbra Streisand gay favorite and “Going to the Chapel” which is a shout out to the same-sex marriage laws California state recently allowed.
Chenoweth tells Eonline: “One of the make-up artists at (TV show) Pushing Daises was like, ‘What’s your next album gonna be?’ And I said, ‘I dunno.’ He was like, ‘How about For the Gays?’ I was like, ‘Genius!’ That is going to be the title of my next album - For the Gays.”
Kristin Chenoweth is an award winning Broadway star with a widely circulated gay following.
