Mo Collins to Guest Star on Pushing Daisies’ first episode back for Season 2
And this information comes from Lee Pace himself, when he and the other cast Pushing Daisies spoke about the show’s return on Sci Fi Wire. Mo Collins! Ahhhh! How I enjoy watching her on MadTV before!
Spoiler ahead after the cut people!
From Sci Fi Wire
Lee Pace on Mo Collins - “The nuns are really funny. Mo Collins plays the dead nun in the nunnery episode. She plays this trash-talking nun, and she’s funny, funny, funny. In that episode, we’re having a good time with the gumshoe-solving-crimes [genre]. Chi [McBride] was doing this real serious, kind of noir, kind of William Shatner [style of] acting. So I did a take where I was kind of making fun of him doing that. That’s when he cracked up. I don’t know if they’ll use it in the episode, but I hope they do.”
Lee Pace on the other episode, Frescorts (The fourth episode) - “Frescorts are friends for hire, which actually exists. David Arquette is our guest star in that episode. He’s someone in need of a frescort. He knew the dead frescort, and he and Ned become really friendly because we’re both misfits.”
Anna Friel on Chuck in Frescorts - “She makes a really good frescort, [as] you can imagine, because she’s so happy and jolly and nice,”"She also thinks it’s not very fair to have to pay a friend, so we make our own frescorting agency in the Pie Hole.”
Anna Friel on Chuck and Ned’s current relationship set-up - “He doesn’t understand why I would be here but not be with him. She has to explain: ‘Actually, I’ve been with my aunts for the whole of my life, and now I’m basically becoming exactly the same here. I’m another shut-in again, because I can’t leave. I have no friends.’ He starts to understand that a little bit more.”
My excitement is really building up now!
