In connection with the DVD release, Warner Home Video polled some 2,000 people in UK asking them which celebrity they would most likely bring back from the dead. The results, as reported in this site:
King of rock’n'roll Elvis Presley, Princess Diana and Marilyn Monroe are the stars British people would most like to bring back from the dead, according to a poll. Wartime Prime Minister Winston Churchill and football World Cup-winning captain Bobby Moore also made the top 10 in a survey of 2,000 people by Warner Home Video.
Respondents were asked to vote for the person they would most like to bring back to life and 23% opted for Elvis. Diana, Princess of Wales, came second with 20% of the votes, while Monroe was placed third.
People were also asked to choose what they thought the stars would be doing if alive on Monday and six in 10 thought Elvis would be a judge on American Idol.
Also in the top 10 were William Shakespeare, who respondents said would be penning tunes for singer Amy Winehouse, and King Henry VIII who nearly half said would have invented the ultimate diet.
Queen frontman Freddie Mercury, Nobel prize-winning physicist Albert Einstein and Nirvana singer Kurt Cobain completed the list
The nationwide survey marked the DVD release of Pushing Daisies: Series One, which follows the story of Ned, a young man who can bring people back from the dead with just one touch.
