Pushing Daisies Spoiler: Lily’s Past and No Daddy In Sight

Personalitydisorders.jpgI just read a teensy weensy bit of spoiler news from Watch with Kristin regarding Pushing Daisies and it has something to do with Aunt Lily and Chuck.

According to her article, Aunt Lily was pregnant with Chuck around that time when their mermaid career was going very well and the sisters had to be on the road a lot. So, Lily is forced to give up baby Chuck to the “sister” (Kristin probably meant “brother”, Charles?).

Meanwhile, Chuck’s real father is supposed to make his appearance on the show, but as Kristin writes: a few somebodies didn’t like the idea. So, that means will never get to see Chuck’s biological dad ever? Just when this idea was brewing!

The Piemaker also provides some interesting clues about Lily’s past, which we may not have noticed the first time. But knowing what we all know now, some things are beginning to make sense, huh?

Olive: You know you want to read Pige’s message.

Vivian: Lily would be so displeased. There was an incident . I read something that I shouldn’t have and then life went horribly awry. Lily never forgave me. She said she did, but, she didn’t.

Olive: Wow. Now I’m more interested in that story.

Vivian: [pause] Let’s put Pige back into her house.

Still on Aunt Lily… if anyone remembers, their synchorized swimming act was cut short as a result of Aunt Lily’s accident, wasn’t it? When her eyes got seriously infected with dust from a cat’s litter box, she lost sight in her right eye. I can imagine it would be hard to do a synchronized act with only one good eye. Which leads me to wonder — how come they were able to do it? In the episode Sweet Smell of Success, when Aunt Vivian sang that Cat Steven’s song, it was the very first time the sisters were back in the water. And did you all remember how beautiful that routine was…Vivian and Lily with her one good eye?
