The UK Press is really going all out with Anna Friel. Pushing Daisies is about to premiere over there this weekend and she has been getting her fair share of publicity.
The other day, I read about her turning down Simon Cowell’s record deal offer. And here I am wondering if she’s ever had old videos of her on Youtube or somewhere else singing. I would definitely wanna hear her singing voice. If Simon was good enough to offer her a record deal, that would mean she can decently carry a tune, right? But I couldn’t find any. Although, my digging up did tell me Anna Friel’s parents were folk song singers once.
I’m sure there are plans for more musical numbers in Pushing Daisies for season 2. Will we ever hear her sing on Pushing Daisies, too?

Anna Friel has revealed that she turned down the chance to be signed by Simon Cowell’s record label.
The Pushing Daisies actress said that she snubbed the multi-million offer to focus on her thespian career.
“I was perfect fodder but had set my goal on acting,” she told The Sun. “I met Simon six years later, in New York, and he said it was the smartest thing I ever did.”
The former Brookside star also revealed that she met ex-boyfriend Robbie Williams in America recently.
She commented: “It was the first time I’d seen him in years and he was really lovely, saying he had heard how well Pushing Daisies was doing.
“It was really nice meeting him, like seeing an old friend.”
